Amantea is a bustling town and seaside resort on a long stretch of beach along the Tyrrhenian coastline, within the Cosenza province. It is the old part of the town (il centro storico) which we would recommend strolling around.
The small village of Fiumefreddo (Cold River) is a perfect combination of charming old streets, an imposing castle and spectacular views out to the Tyrrhenian Sea.
This church and sanctuary are set in a peaceful spot set above the town of Paola on the Tyrrhenian coast. Away from the hustle and bustle, you can enjoy the waterfall and the surroundings.
Arco Magno beach is a famous one, with its unique position in a rocky cove and surrounded on all sides by spectacular cliffs. A single archway in the rock connects this beach to the ocean, so explore this beach and the surrounding coastline by boat.
